How to get a budget wedding dress
Shopping at samples sales is the easiest way to keep the costs low. Keep an eye out for sales and trunk shows at the boutiques in your area. You can get in there quick and find your dream wedding dress for less.
Another option is to look for pre-owned dresses. Some boutiques specialise in pre-owned wedding dresses, which is a safer option than looking online. Brides will have worn these dresses for one day, or even just a few hours, so they are practically like new!
Bridal Accessories
Many budget wedding dresses are simple and do not offer the glitz and glamour that comes with higher priced dresses. A great way to transform a simple look is to add accessories.
We love the idea of adding jewelled hair pieces for attaching the veil to add a little sparkle. Another option is to look for a belt that can be tied around the dress, you will be able to find these on offer at any bridal boutique. These can add sparkle whilst accentuating your waistline and be finished with a big bow at the back.
Wedding shoes
We know buying wedding shoes is a big deal, but please wait until you have your dress to buy these. If the colour is slightly off, especially with an ivory dress, it will not look great. The shoes will complement your dress, but we also love a statement show if your dress is more understated.
